Selling honey at Astrup Fearnleys

snow_6.gifWet snow / rain and temps around 0 is the bad news of the day.

This morning was a crappy morning with lots of stress. Simply because I brought with me about 20 kgs of honey that with the glasses weighs about 30 kgs, it was slippery to walk and the train was cancelled. Due to a electricity problem a fire had started in the tunnel btwn Oslo central station and the National Theater in some of the electricity cables. This caused absolutely all train traffic in this part of the country to stop and I had to take first a bus to Grorud, then the metro to the city, then change bus twice to get to work. I guess Ill double check tomorrow if the trains started again or if I should take a smarter route.

As soon as I got to work I was completely exhausted and due to the heavy weight both strops on my rucksack with honey had been torn to pieces from the weight. Well, during the day things got way better and I stopped by my old job to sell all this honey (pre-orders). It was so nice to catch up with people that lots of us ended up going out for beer. Great since I knew most of them during many years!!! It was fantastic to catch up with Simon as well and for a few moments there I had some flashbacks and really missed working with that group again. I actually do miss them a lot, but how can you manage to not miss nice people I have worked with for 5 years ?? And being that great.

Evening turned out fantastic as soon as I was rid of all the honey !!!
